SOCKS is a proxy, and not a reverse proxy. SOCKS can’t accept incoming connections and forward them to Torrent client. uTorrent can do that, and our SOCKS proxy supports UDP. If the Torrent client does not support UDP over SOCKS, then these torrents won’t work. You should find an option in your Torrent client, and tell it to use SOCKS for UDP transfers, after that the torrents that didn’t work should start to download. That may be the reason why some Torrents don’t work for you. Now, SOCKS protocol also has his drawbacks and those are the UDP transfers. That is the main reason for our SOCKS protocol support. If your client disconnects from our VPN server, your Torrent client or browser can’t get to our SOCKS proxy and all traffic for it will stop. Our proxy server is available only to our Premium subscribers and when the client is connected to our VPN network. When you setup SOCKS server on your Torrent client or browser, it cannot access the internet any other way than by using the SOCKS proxy.
